The NORTH Foundation, the official fundraising partner of the Northern Sydney Local Health District, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new board members.
Joining NORTH Foundation’s Board are Tanya Bowes, Director of Corporate Affairs at CSIRO, Karen Borg, former CEO of Healthdirect Australia and Jobs for NSW and David Singer former MD/Head of Sales Trading at UBS Securities Australia Limited.
“As the NORTH Foundation continues to grow in partnership with our community, funding life-changing health research and ideas, we’re delighted to have Karen, Tanya and David join our Board” said Michael Ellies, Chair of the NORTH Foundation. “Combined they bring a wealth of experience in marketing, healthcare and grant funding as well as established relationships. We look forward to their contribution in positioning NORTH Foundation as charity of choice for the Northern Sydney community.”
Gilbert Lorquet, CEO of NORTH Foundation said “I look forward to working with our new board members. These appointments will further assist us in delivering on our strategy to meet the ever-increasing needs of our community and healthcare teams.”
Greg Isaacs exits the Board after nearly nine years of service, with five as Chairman. “Greg provided a transformative contribution to the NORTH Foundation,” said Michael Ellies. “Under Greg’s leadership, we re-branded from the Kolling Foundation, strengthened and grew the team and established a sustainable growth plan. On behalf of the board, the broader team and all our stakeholders I want to express our enormous thanks.”
