A campfire explosion left Sharon in an induced coma with burns to 54% of her body. She spent five months at Royal North Shore Hospital, including Christmas, where her doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists became her second family. They dressed her wounds, hung baubles across her ceiling and helped her heal. Today, she’s home, back at work and back on the water.
