Made possible by a generous bequest from the late Pamela Margaret Andrew, a former patient and volunteer, the centre is a testament to her dedication to healthcare. Described as “a legacy for generations of doctors, nurses, and allied health staff,” the centre ensures that healthcare professionals have access to world-class experiential learning opportunities.

At the launch, NORTH Foundation CEO Gilbert Lorquet expressed gratitude to all those involved, especially Pamela, whose generosity has created a lasting impact on the healthcare community. “It is only fitting that this centre honours Pamela’s bequest, so generations of healthcare professionals who visit it know the contribution she made,” he said.

The Simulation Centre is supported by a multiprofessional team who will collaborate with Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital clinicians to design and deliver tailored courses that enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
