Supporting Our Team During Coronavirus

NORTH Foundation Team on Zoom

It’s no secret we are in the middle of a global pandemic. We are all feeling it in all areas of our lives. It’s also affecting the way businesses and organisations operate.

At NORTH Foundation, not only have we been working with our hospitals and health district to support the needs of our front line workers to fight COVID-19, we have also been responding with measures to help our team to continue to our work during this time.

With our team working out at the Royal North Shore Hospital; we decided, in the interests of our team’s safety, to move to a remote working environment sooner than advised by the Australian government. The team has been working from their homes since 17 March 2020, their physical and mental safety is our highest priority.

The Foundation has supplied ergonomic chairs and office equipment to enable staff to create a healthy home office space.

Our systems are secure and cloud-based, enabling remote access and securing our data. The team is using the Microsoft Office Teams App and Zoom to conduct our face to face meetings online and stay connected to our partners and hospitals.

The team has daily check-ins; this help ensures we continue to collaborate for the best outcomes for our supporters and health teams. The Foundation is continually looking for ways to improve our remote working options with the focus on flexibility and output to support our team as they juggle home and work life at this time.

Thank you for supporting the NORTH Foundation.
