After five years as Chair of the NORTH Foundation Board, Greg Isaacs hands over the role to Michael Ellies.
The NORTH Foundation is the official fundraising partner of the Northern Sydney Local Health District, including the Kolling Institute of Medical Research.
“It has been a great honour to have served as Chairman of the NORTH Foundation,” said Isaacs. “During my time as Chair, we have raised over $45M funding health needs and medical research projects that have delivered better outcomes for our community. I am confident in our future as we continue to expand our impact.”
Michael Ellies is a former medical practitioner with senior commercial experience across healthcare, government, financial services, media and not-for-profit sectors. “The NORTH Foundation is in a unique and privileged positioned to support world class medical research, aspirational patient care improvements and community health education that would otherwise not be possible,” Ellies said. “I look forward to working with the board, management and our many stakeholders and partners to achieve this purpose.”
