Go the extra mile to support your local hospital – Conquer Kokoda From NSW

The Australian spirit has always been well known to include endurance, courage, ingenuity, good humour and mateship. These qualities are as important today as they were during the Kokoda Track campaign of 1942.

In 2021, we ran the inaugural Conquer Kokoda From Home virtual challenge to raise much-needed funds for our local hospitals and the front-line healthcare workers tackling COVID-19.

Over the last few years, we have seen Australians work together in response to the challenges posed by COVID-19, while never losing our spirit and comradery as Australians. Whilst we have persevered through the pandemic, the mental health of all Australians has been put to the test. The impact of physical distancing, isolation, and uncertainty has highlighted the importance of mental wellbeing and the need for healthcare services in this area.

This year, our virtual challenge – Conquer Kokoda From NSW – aims to honour this Australian spirit and raise crucial funds for mental health research and patient care services our local hospitals.

You will have the opportunity to undertake our virtual Kokoda track, traveling North to South from Kokoda to Ower’s Corner, while garnering support from your friends and family to help you raise much-needed funds for your community mental health services and hospital research in that area.

Take on the Conquer Kokoda from NSW challenge today!
