Delving into role urgent care plays within our community, we are joined by Dr Mark Gillett, Director of Emergency Medical Education and Research at Royal North Shore Hospital. He speaks about the role of research in the Emergency Department and why it is important for our community in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

“Many areas of emergency medicine still remain under researched. However, the ED is an area of medicine that demands high quality medical research in order to provide better treatment for the patients who attend there“ says Dr Mark Gillett.

By investing in education and research for our urgent care services we are able to better treat and triage patients on their arrival and ensure that they are receiving optimal care and the very best treatment possible. Now’s the time to listen to our latest NORTH Foundation Podcast.
