The NORTH Foundation, the only charity that supports an entire NSW Health district, is set to celebrate its 5th anniversary with a special event hosted by Her Excellency Ms. Sam Mostyn AO, Governor-General of Australia. This milestone event, themed “Shaping the Future of Healthcare for All,” will honour the NORTH Foundation’s transformative work in advancing healthcare and medical research across the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).
The evening will bring together supporters and clinicians who have empowered the NORTH Foundation to deliver groundbreaking achievements. These include the recent establishment of NORTH STAR VNP, Australia’s premier cancer clinical trials centre, which the Governor-General launched in August. This partnership between the NSLHD and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York will fast-track clinical trials to patients here in Australia. NORTH STAR VNP was made possible through donor generosity and reflects the NORTH Foundation’s vision of health innovations that benefit people beyond just the local community.
